About Us

Chosen Gatherings is fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to awakening Jewish spirit and cultivating resilient, connected community for today and for generations to come.

We exist to create spaces where Jews and allies come together through tradition, celebration, and shared experiences. By weaving timeless rituals with contemporary culture, we inspire connection, cultural pride, and a true sense of belonging.

Through thoughtfully curated Shabbat dinners, concerts, salons, and holiday celebrations, we honor our heritage while reimagining Jewish life in ways that are vibrant, inclusive, and relevant for the next generation.

As a grassroots movement that has already welcomed thousands across New York, Los Angeles, and beyond, Chosen Gatherings stands at the forefront of reimagining modern Jewish community.

Why Now?

Traditional religious and social structures no longer anchor community the way they once did. Yet our need for belonging, meaning, and connection is as strong as ever.

    • Mid-life adults, young adults, and parents are showing unprecedented demand for spaces that balance tradition and modern relevance.

    • This generational moment presents a unique opportunity to engage communities in ways that both honor heritage and align with today’s realities.

    • Jewish people are actively seeking spaces to connect, support one another, and engage with tradition in meaningful ways.

    • 31% remain more engaged in Jewish life than before October 7, with 72% of that surge still active today. (Source: Jewish Federations of North America, 2025)

    • Loneliness is at historic highs, and despite digital connectivity, people feel more isolated and fragmented than ever.

    • Many young leaders and entrepreneurs are craving community but feel disconnected from legacy institutions.

    • Recent tragedies have deeply impacted the global Jewish community, creating an urgent call for solidarity, resilience, and belonging.

    • 79% of Jews feel deeply concerned about antisemitism, fueling the need for safe, connected spaces. (Source: Jewish Federations of North America, 2025)
